Two of Melbourne’s premier street artists have 90 minutes to create a unique artwork, and will battle it out in the Series 2 of Secret Wars.

Originating in London and now here in Melbourne, Secret Wars is the worldwide phenomenon that showcases the amazing artwork of the world’s best artists in a way that has rarely been seen before.
Round Four will begin on Wednesday January 12, and will feature Drew Funk vs. Braddock.
Drew Funk is one of Melbourne’s most prolific artists, drawing his inspiration from the city streets while staying true to his oriental heritage. His work can be seen in some of Melbourne’s most iconic places, including Hosier Lane, Swanston Street and Section 8.
Braddock works within the tight-knit world of alternative cartoonists and graffiti. His work can be seen on the street, in galleries or in print, which allows him to fit into any creative discipline.
These two completely different styles will battle for the final spot in the semi finals.
Secret Wars showcases the artists and their art in the form of a live 90 minute battle, using simple but dynamic techniques. Artists are encouraged to have fun, think outside the square, and use the platform to play off one another. The Battles are judged by two neutral, nominated judges and one crowd vote.
Secret Wars will take over 1000 £ Bend at 361 Lt Lonsdale Street. Doors open at 6.30pm on January 12, with the Battle die to kick off at 8.30pm.
