Pagan to cover Australia with first-ever headline tour

Supporting their riotous debut album, Black Wash, Melbourne rock lords Pagan will be dotting the corners of the country with their brazen melodies on a huge national tour.

Featuring the rollicking lead single ‘Death Before Disco’, Black Wash is a collection of 11 songs brought to life by renowned local producer Mike Deslandes. On the new LP, the quartet, lead by the unbridled Nikki Brumen at the fore, play as if the record is their last hurrah, uncapping the meticulous punk rock that’s made them local magnates across Melbourne’s underground.

From the grungy ‘Silver’ to the more vibrant ‘Year of the Dog’, Pagan cloak themselves with a guerrilla cloak on Black Wash, rebelling against the rules and nostalgic romanticism plaguing underground music today.

Since forming in 2015, Pagan have been riding a perilous wave to the top, charming audiences with their mischievous stage demeanour and unparalleled freneticism.

The past 18 months has seen them play UNIFY, Yours & Owls and BIGSOUND festivals on top of supporting Rise Against and touring with the likes of King Parrot and Clowns.
