Melbourne’s favourite haunt for everything cosmic and mythical, Scienceworks, is bringing its residence to life through a new after-dark party. Local legends Pillow Pro, Biscotti and Future Fosil will be decorating the foyer with their otherworldly melodies as punters meander the museum’s ground-breaking new exhibition, Beyond Perception: Seeing the Unseen.
Beyond Perception: Seeing the Unseen illuminates the space with gloomy, atmospheric light projections. Much of our atmosphere’s composition is undetermined but Beyond Perception attempts to unfurl its illusions, exposing the invisible fields and forces that surround us.
A particularly fascinating aspect of the exhibit is its soundtrack which is constant but never repeats the same melodies twice. What’s more, every note is an amalgamation of Scienceworks’ ambient soundscapes on the night, including the live music going down in the foyer.
