The famous Scottish brewery chain Brewdog is opening up in Coburg in an incredibly unique location.
With a combination of inside and outside areas, Brewdog is set to take over 12,000 square feet in this super unique location. They’re also serving up their classic food menu that includes a burger, tacos and wings menu, all perfectly crafted to pair with the huge beer selection from their two on-site bars.

One of the world’s biggest craft breweries, Brewdog is part of a hospitality juggernaut that operates more than 180 venues worldwide, it’s a staple of the UK and Europe’s pub culture. Brewdog has set its sights on Melbourne for the first time. Opening up in Pentridge Prison, which is already home to a food and drinks precinct as well as a Palace Cinema.
This is Brewdog’s second venture onto Australian soil – they already have a location open in Brisbane that opened back in 2019. Partnering with the group behind Melbourne favourites Harlow, The Smith, Kewpie and State of Grace, Brewdog is set to launch in Melbourne.

“Australia is one of the most exciting and dynamic craft beer countries in the world,” Brewdog co-founder Martin Dickie said in a statement. “Since opening our taproom and brewery in Brisbane, we’ve been blown away by the support we’ve received from the local community … We can’t wait for this project to get underway.”
