Riding the high of their latest album, Merzbau Burning (available through Bandcamp and at select record stores) the band is set to woo fans at Creatures of Habit on the night of October 5. Entry is free, which means there’s no excuse not to get down there and cut some shapes.

They’ll be supported by local favourites Low Monroe & The Fugitives and Gold Coast Leathers, rounding out the night of dark wave, post-punk and moody ambient.

Low Monroe & The Fugitives have a sound akin to a David Lynch movie come to life, marked by deep bass lines, haunting vocals, and a hypnotic atmosphere. Overall, this enigmatic group offers a wholly original experience – one that should be seen in the flesh.

Gold Coast Leathers will kick the night off with a bang. Making their debut Naarm performance, this exciting new gang of beach goths crafts a distinctive sound.

Made up of drummer and vocalist Sheena Leather, bassist Dan Leather, and guitarists Mike and Casper Leather, they’ll be offering up a blend of gothic aesthetics fused with the vibrancy of surf rock.

Creatures of Habit Bar, as a mainstay in the Fitzroy community which has become a strong supporter of live music, will make for the perfect setting. It’s free and it’ll be ferocious – make sure you don’t miss this one.
