One Electric Day unveils 2023 lineup: Icehouse, Jon Stevens, Belinda Carlisle and more

One Electric Day

The one-day festival returns with big plans for 2023.

Held in Werribee Park, One Electric Day is just that – one day of music, community and celebration. This year’s lineup has just been released and we think it’s well worth the drive from Melbourne.

On November 19, the festival will bring in the classic Sydney rock band Icehouse as well as the iconic American singer (and ex-Go-Go’s frontwoman) Belinda Carlise to town. Jon Stevens of Noiseworks and INXS will also be taking the stage, performing songs from across his musical career.

Joining the headliners will be singer and ex-Sherbert vocalist Daryl Braithwaite, former Hunters & Collectors frontman Mark Seymour and the pop-rock group Boom Crash Opera.

This will be the 10th birthday for the Werribee festival, which has grown a reputation for bringing Australia’s ’80s and ’90s pub rock legends together. Over its decade of service, it’s become one of the state’s top one-day events – it’s not unusual for tickets to sell out in one day.

Last year, the event expanded, adding dates through Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. The festival’s other locations are not yet confirmed for 2023 – stay tuned for updates.

“We are so thankful to all the music fans who have supported One Electric Day over the past decade, and to everyone who continues to look forward to the event each year,” said event promoter Duane McDonald in a statement. “We are excited to celebrate this year with you.”
