Olympia, Jess Ribeiro, Laura Jean and more are headlining an epic cheese festival

Fromage a Trois will bring a massive spread of food, booze and live tunes to Werribee next month.

This March, Werribee Park Mansion will transform into a cheese-filled haven for Fromage a Trois, a one-day festival dedicated to cheese.

Featuring cooking demonstrations and masterclasses, food and drink from some of Australia’s finest producers and providores, an exciting live music program and much more, this year’s festival is bound to have you licking your lips.

Sharing their favourite dishes, artisan cheeses and knowledge comes a mouth-watering offering of cheesemongers and producers, including That’s Amore Cheese & Cannoleria, Milk the Cow, Boatshed Cheese, Dreaming Goat Dairy, Harper & Blohm and Farmhouse Cheese.

As well as artisan cheeseboards and cracker stackers, there will also be plenty of decadent, cheese-filled bites to satisfy your need for cheese – from The Mac Project’s mac and cheese doughnut to 48hour Pizza’s ‘Best Pizza in Australia’ award-winning slices.

If you manage to save room for dessert, indulge in Billy van Creamy’s quirky range of cheesy cones, with flavours ranging from smoked ricotta and peach to passionfruit cheesecake.

Vegans won’t be left out, either, with dairy-free options available alongside a range of dietary-friendly bites at this year’s Fromage a Trois.

And because everyone knows that cheese tastes better when it’s paired with booze, there will be a huge range of wine, beer, cider and spirits available, such as Botanical Brew’s naturally alcoholic Jun Kombucha, Four Pillars Negronis, Great Ocean Road Gin G&Ts, and Archie Rose Espresso Martinis.

Plus, the craft beer masters at Stomping Ground Brewing Co have even joined forces with Milawa Cheese Co for a palate-pleasing range of beer and cheese pairings.

And don’t worry about drawing straws to determine who will be the designated driver, there will be free shuttle buses running from Werribee and Wyndham Vale Stations as well as a ticketed shuttle from Brunswick Station.

Once you’ve eaten and drank yourself into a food coma, you can lay back and let the sounds of Olympia, Jess Ribeiro, Laura Jean and Bec Sandridge lull you into a state of utter satisfaction.

It’s going to be very Gouda.

Fromage a Trois comes to Werribee Park Mansion on Sunday March 22. Find out more and grab your tickets here
