Gippsland’s favourite heavy music festival UNIFY Gathering might be taking a year off, but we’re in for a treat instead: UNIFY’s Off The Record.

Featuring intimate club shows across five states in Australia, with curated lineups for every location, this is an event for the fans. Touring late May into early June, UNIFY’s Off The Record will be stopping in Mackay, Adelaide, Wollongong, Hobart and Frankston. Catch it when it heads to Melbourne for a show at Frankston’s The Pier on June 2.

UNIFY Off The Record

  • In lieu of UNIFY Gathering, Off The Record is hitting the road for five intimate club shows
  • Off The Record will feature curated lineups for each location
  • It takes place at The Pier in Frankston on June 2

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

With massive acts including Northlane, Thy Art Is Murder, Thornhill, Make Them Suffer, Teenage Joans, In Hearts Wake, Alpha Wolf, Ocean Grove, Yours Truly, Redhook and American deathcore band Fit For An Autopsy, the lineup is packed with fan favourites.

With a focus on smaller scale and artist connection, Off The Record in Adelaide, Frankston and Wollongong will feature APRA-AMCOS Songcraft Sessions the day prior to each locations performance day. Giving fans and budding songwriters the opportunity to learn from their heroes about approaches to song writing and performing, this will instil inspiration and passion within young songwriters straight from the source.

Punters will also be treated to High Spirit Sessions from Support Act, a mental health in music networking event, aimed at educating young patrons and artists on important issues and realities faced in working in music in the 21st century. Each show will also have a curated acknowledgment and education about the country on which the event takes place, so make sure to arrive early to gain as much as possible from the event.

It all goes down at The Pier in Frankston on June 2. Grab your tickets by heading here.
