NYE on the Hill returns with Ball Park Music leading the lineup

Words by staff writer

The NYE on the Hill 2026 lineup has arrived, with Ball Park Music, The Rions, Old Mervs and Pacific Avenue up top.

NYE on the Hill returns to South Gippsland over New Year, and the 2026 lineup leans hard on homegrown talent.

The NYE on the Hill 2026 lineup is topped by Ball Park Music, with The Rions, Old Mervs and Pacific Avenue filling out the upper tier. It marks the festival’s return after time away, with organisers The Hills Are Alive Group and triple j back behind the wheel.

Beyond the headliners, the bill runs deep. Boy Soda, Darcie Haven, Redd., Mid Drift and Milo Eastwood all feature, alongside Sleepazoid, The Tullamarines, Birdland, Charli Lucas and Devaura.

Intermood, Rageflower, Selve, Tjaka, Cali Rd, Milly Strange and The Foxy Junes round out the live offering, with a triple j Unearthed winner still to be named. Dance and late-night DJs, plus Hills DJs and comedy, are set to be announced closer to the gates.

Numbers are tight by design. NYE on the Hill caps attendance at 3,000, keeping the South Gippsland site small enough to actually run into your mates between sets. The format holds at three days and two nights, with BYO allowed alongside on-site bars and more than 30 bands and performers across the weekend.

True to its billing, the weekend leans on camping, music and good company in equal measure, with organisers framing it as a chance to see out one year and roll into the next surrounded by friends, both old and new.

Full festival tickets, camping included, start from $289 plus booking fee. Presale opens 7 July at 8:40am, with general public tickets following on 8 July at 8:40am.

A competition is also running, with the first four tickets up for grabs for entrants who register before the cut-off at 6:59 pm on 6 July. The festival artwork comes from Nat Welsh.
