SPASTA, meaning ‘to break’ in Greek, describes the practice of smashing plates, the age-old tradition performed to express joy and to bring good luck. With music from UK taste-maker Jamie Tiller, emerging Hong Kong talent Ani Phoebe, Australian-Colombian sound system, Amaru Tribe, and dance floor instigators, Disco Mediterranea. Audiences can expect a night at Max Watt’s true to its namesake—filled with good vibes, worldly club sounds, Pontian dancing and a Zorba (or 7). BYO plates.
