The Beths first burst onto the scene with their breakout debut album, Future Me Hates Me, released in 2018. The album received international acclaim, with Pitchfork hailing it as “one of the most impressive indie-rock debuts of the year.”

The following year, the band garnered five nominations at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, ultimately clinching the titles of Best Group and Best Alternative Artist.

Their meteoric rise led to extensive international touring, supporting the likes of Pixies, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Breeders. The Beths’ festival appearances at Primavera Sound, The Great Escape, SXSW and more solidified their status as a powerhouse in the indie rock scene.

The success of their debut album paved the way for their second record, Jump Rope Gazers, released in July 2020, earning critical acclaim and accolades, including Album of the Year at New Zealand’s Aotearoa Music Awards.

Fast forward to 2022, and The Beths have delivered their third and arguably best album, Expert In A Dying Field. The album received widespread praise, with Pitchfork, The Ringer, Stereogum and others naming it one of the best releases of the year. The band’s popularity soared, leading to profiles in Rolling Stone, Document Journal, and a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR.

For fans of indie rock and those eager to witness one of the most exciting bands in the scene, The Beths’ Australian headline dates are not to be missed.
