ON AIR: 40 years of 3RRR is the first ever exhibition showcasing Australia’s most successful community radio station, following Triple R’s 40-year evolution from its humble beginnings as an educational broadcaster at RMIT University to a station with 440,000 listeners tuning in every week and its own digs in Brunswick.
The exhibition will dip into the stations archives to display original artworks, photographs, posters, magazines, videos of live-to-air performances and much more.
Adding to the celebratory feel comes a special program of free public talks and debates, rounded out with an after-hours pop-up bar.
