Nadia Reid returns to Australia in December for the most far-reaching run of shows the folk artist has staged here.
The UK-based singer-songwriter has eight dates locked in across Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne and a spread of regional Victorian towns, with tickets on sale 13 August. Nadia Reid will have guitarist and longtime collaborator Sam Taylor beside her for the whole stretch.
It is a notable step up in scale for an artist who has typically kept her Australian visits very compact. This time the map stretches from The Vanguard in Sydney out to smaller rooms in Beechworth, Geelong, Archies Creek and Castlemaine, closing on an afternoon show to round off the trip.

To mark the announcement, Nadia Reid is releasing Call the Days, a track pulled from her new live album Nadia Reid: Live with Strings. The 10-track collection was recorded at Wellington’s Old St Paul’s alongside the NZ Trio, reworking songs from across her catalogue into string-arranged versions.
Call the Days lands with an illustrated animation by Parry Jones, a New Zealand animator and longtime friend of Reid’s. She first found her footing in Australia a decade ago after signing to Aaron Curnow’s now-retired label Spunk!, and heads into these dates fresh from recording a new album in New York.
Supports across the run will be announced in October, and the Melbourne stop at Northcote Social Club sits mid-tour on 18 December.
