One of Africa’s most lauded singers, Youssou Ndour, was dubbed the Michael Jackson of Senegal from just 12 years of age. Leading joyous celebrations of African identity, heritage and hope on the world stage, Ndour’s siren-like singing is an ecstatic voice for change. He’ll perform at the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday March 28 and Hamer Hall, Melbourne on Saturday March 31.
Meanwhile, Gomez returns to Australia for their first tour in six years, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their watershed album Bring It On. Gomez will perform at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney on Saturday March 31 and at 170 Russell, Melbourne on Sunday April 1.
