Moose & Caz launch their debut album, Bench Seat Memories, with a winter afternoon show at Wesley Anne, 250 High Street, Northcote, on Sunday 30 August at 3pm–6pm, with very special guests The Van Walker Trio.
Bench Seat Memories is a collection of songs shaped by memory, place, distance and the strange pull of the past. With tracks such as Copenhagen, Epping Line and Fitzroy Cowboy, the album moves through real and imagined places, from far-off cities to Melbourne streets and train lines. Built around warm melodies and featuring electric cello, the songs shift between sparse, melodic arrangements and darker, more atmospheric moments.
