MOS for deciding to get your grubby corporate fingers and use them to digitally rape hip hop. It’s all fun and games to attempt to make dollars from something, just keep your hands off the music I like, thanks. With that out of the way this is actually a pretty good collection of party tracks. The cheesy is here of course with Young MC, Salt N Peppa and Tone Loc as well as big tracks like Regulate, Drop It Like It’s Hot & Day and Night. Dig a little deeper and there are nods to proper artists, Nas, Krs One, EPMD, Eric B & Rakim, NWA, Public Enemy & the Wu Tang Clan. Now whilst I may question some of the track selections for these legends, props to MOS for even bothering to include them. This is three discs of harmless fun, sure you’re going to hit skip at points throughout, but for general riding in the car or a house party this is one of the better compilations to emerge.
