A Melbourne painter, sculptor and installation artist, Tim Craker has a degree in Fine Art and a history of group and solo shows both local and international. His success has brought him to Midsumma, a celebration of queer culture, and in its honour, he has created Hang Ups.
A giant mobile that dangles above your head and forces you to reflect on how you rotate on your own axis, it has been hailed as a “mathematical beauty.”
Hang Ups opens Wednesday January 19 at 6pm and runs until Sunday February 6 at Gasworks Theatre, 21 Graham Street Albert Park. The exhibition is open from 9-5 weekdays and 9-4 weekends.
