Xavier Toby’s comedy walking tour 2014: When We Were Idiots will be held at 3pm and 8pm by the Burke & Wills Statue at the City Square.
Drama With A Difference Presents Moving Up, 4pm and 8pm today at The Theatre Husk in Northcote.
Also at 4pm, Huw Joseph and the Immoral Support Band at the Toff in Town, and Who’s Your Daddy at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow.
Pop Mashup: Happy Birthday Doctor! rounds the afternoon shows out, 5pm at the Butterfly Club.

The Luck Child occupies the Spiegeltent, 10am; with Monski Mouse following at 11:30am.
The (Very) Big Laugh Out returns to the City and Federation Squares. Today at The City Square, Sharon from Canada at 11.30am, and The Strong Lady at 12.30pm. Then from 2.30pm until 4pm MCs Kiki & Pascal host a show at Federation Square featuring Anna Pocket Rocket, Sharon from Canada, The Strong Lady, and Asher Treleaven. Entry is free.
The Flying Bookworm Theatre Company present Three Silly Stories, 12,30pm at the Town Hall. 3.30pm sees Improvilicious perform family friendly impro at the Town Hall.
Podcasts: For podcast fans, I Love Green Guide Letters returns to festival with a live recording at Shebeen. 4.30pm, tickets from TryBooking and at the door. David Tulk and Jamie McCarney bring Full of It: The True or False Game Show to the Exford Hotel’s stage, 5pm today. And US standup Jen Kirkman records a live episode of I Seem Fun, 5.30pm at the Town Hall.
Making its début tonight is Damien Callinan and Tim Overton’s Out of Print Book Club – a show where books are created on the spot. The show runs every Saturday night, 6pm at the Town Hall, 5pm Sundays. Tickets from Ticketmaster.
Films: As part of the festival’s comedy film series, my personal favourite Vacation film National Lampoon’s Vacation screens at the Capitol Theatre, 9pm tonight.
Nova’s ROFL Room will make its return to the festival tomorrow night. The invite only event will feature Tommy Little, Rose Callaghan, Jonathan Schuster plus many more this Saturday night at Trades Hall. Listen to Nova 100 or check out Nova 100’s website to win tickets.
Late Night: It’s a Comedy Bonanza at Festival Club tonight, 11.30pm at The Hi-Fi Bar. The Late Night Board Game Slumber Party gives away board games to all ticket buyers with special guests Tommy Dassalo, Rose Callaghan, and Bart Freebairn. 10.45pm at Games Laboratory. Over at the Tuxedo Cat, Ben McKenzie and Dave Bloustein join Lisa-Skye for her Lovely Tea Party. Also on late night: Two in the Think Tank, Miss Itchy’s Late Night Larvae, The Lords of Luxury, Late Night Impro, and Gameshow Gameshow.
