Methyl Ethel, the brainchild of the talented Western Australian artist Jake Webb, is gearing up for an electrifying ‘New & Old’ Australian Tour this November and December. You can catch them at Melbourne’s own Northcote Theatre on December 7.

Fresh off the heels of their sold-out 2022 Australian tour, where they dazzled audiences in support of their fourth critically acclaimed album ‘Are You Haunted?’, Methyl Ethel is back with a vengeance. Their hypnotic performances at festivals like Splendour in the Grass, Party in the Paddock, and Golden Plains left fans yearning for more, and now they’re about to deliver.
This upcoming tour will take Methyl Ethel to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide, giving fans a rare chance to see them outside of a festival setting in 2023.
Jake Webb’s musical journey with Methyl Ethel has seen the project evolve from a humble bedroom recording venture to a three-piece band, and later, a sensational six-piece ensemble with not one but two drummers. For the ‘New & Old’ Australian Tour, Webb and his newly-formed live band will treat fans to a musical feast.
They’ll be dishing out timeless classics from Methyl Ethel’s glittering back catalogue, including hits like ‘Ubu’, ‘Drink Wine’, ‘Proof’, ‘Twilight Driving’, and many more.
