THE APPICE BROTHERS DRUM WARS
Two of the drumming worlds biggest names, Carmine and Vinny Appice will be touring Sydney and Melbourne as the Appice Brothers: Drum Wars in February 2017. The legendary brothers have been the engine room for some of the greatest bands of all time including Black Sabbath, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, Rod Stewart, Vanilla Fudge, Blue Murder, Paul Stanley, and King Kobra. Now they’ve joined forces to conquer the world with their own show. Playing the greatest hits of a host of their previous bands, the Appice Brothers deliver a rock show that will impress both rockers and drummers alike. This is a high energy, mind blowing rock concert played with vehemence and power. Both drummers will be on stage playing their most famous songs with special guest musicians and they’ll also be holding epic drum battles, super solos and displaying some fancy tricks that have earned them their reputations as legendary sticksmen. They’ll also be holding special clinics where the opportunity to receive a once in a lifetime double lesson with the Appice Brothers awaits. The full show takes place at Max Watt’s on Saturday February 18 and the drum clinic is at Croxton Park Hotel on Sunday February 19. Tickets to these clinics are very limited so get in quick.
THE ARISTOCRATS TOUR

DEATH IN BLOOM UNLEASH THE FEVER
Filled with hate, made of terror; Death In Bloom are a quintet risen from the ashes of Melbourne’s metalcore heavyweights past with their debut album A Means To Disappear, released independently on Friday October 14 via MGM. To herald the album’s arrival, Death In Bloom have unleashed The Fever with a stunning music video. Shot, directed and produced in regional Victoria in the dilapidated basement of a family friend by the band themselves, the video is a testament to the band’s furious DIY ethos and product of Death In Bloom’s artistic talents. It is this DIY ethos which is purveyed throughout A Means To Disappear, with the assistance of Callan Orr (Dream On Dreamer) at Avalanche studios, the band were able to remove the binds that tied them artistically in the past.

THE INFERNAL EQUINOX AT THE BENDIGO
The AFL long weekend will be kicked off with a horde of brutality for The Infernal Equinox. Six of Victoria’s most brutal underground acts will come together at The Bendigo Hotel on Friday September 30 to absolutely obliterate, honouring the purity of true underground music and keeping the flame of extreme heavy metal ablaze. ACE OF SPADES FIRST BIRTHDAY BASH
Australian Motorhead tribute band Ace of Spades are celebrating their first birthday in the loudest way possible. They are performing the classic 1981 Motorhead live album No Sleep Till Hammersmith in its entirety. And they’ll be recording it too. It all happens at the Mr Boogie Man Bar, 160 Hoddle St Abbotsford, Friday October 7 at 7.30pm. Also appearing is Manowar tribute band Triumph Of Steel and Dio tribute band Holy Diver.
