Fitzroy music forum, Melting Pot, turns three this weekend, and you are invited to come and celebrate.
Celebrate the third birthday of Melting Pot, the Fitzroy forum that brings artists together to share the passion for Melbourne’s quality live music scene.
The team at Melting Pot are proud to be the creators of this city’s original Songwriters in the Round, which has been successfully entertaining and drawing music lovers from all over to Fitzroy.
Melting Pot aims to entertain with performances that are engaging, inspired, amusing and surprising, and to increasingly assist local and emerging artists to continually develop in a professional environment.
To celebrate the three-year success of the Melting Pot brand, the crew have organised a birthday bash with quality music from some friends they’ve met along the way.
Headlining the party is The John Lingard Band, who have seen success in Melbourne from their EP called Stranger. John and his band will be supported by Better Than Wizards, The Kindling, and Lauren Victoria.
Head to The Evelyn Hotel, 351 Brunswick St Fitzroy on February 13 (this Sunday!) to join in the party. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are $10, available from the door only.
