Artists go head to head in Secret Wars semi-final on Wednesday night.
Two of Melbourne’s finest artistic talents will go head to head in the first semi-final due to take place pn Wednesday night. Scale and Pierre Lloga will battle it out for a place in the grand final of Melbourne’s Secret Wars.
In case you’ve never heard of Secret Wars before here’s the lowdown: The rules are simple. On the night the artists will get 90 minutes to create their masterpiece. They’ll only be allowed to use black markers or black acrylic paint and no pencils or sketches may be on stage. Each artist has to stay within his or her allocated space. The battle is judged by two nominated and two neutral guest judges plus a crowd vote.
Artists are encouraged to think outside of the box and play off of each other’s artwork. Be sure to secure your spot to witness this incredibly unique event by heading on over to Moshtix. The battle will take place on Wednesday February 9 at 1000 £ Bend (361 Lt Lonsdale Street). Doors open at 6.30pm and the battle begins at 8.30pm.
