Melbourne’s Suburbs Just Got a New Live Music Venue

The Satellite Lounge is opening at the Wheelers Hill Hotel in August. It’s a venue with a long history of live entertainment and is arriving with plenty of free parking. Just a short drive from both the Eastlink and Monash Freeway exits, The Satellite Lounge sits right on the corner of Jells & Ferntree Gully Roads, featuring a large outdoor terrace with views of the Dandenong Ranges and promising patrons an experience above and beyond the expectations of normal pub-style entertainment.

To get things rolling, they’ve locked in a slew of great artists to kick things off. Ross Wilson & The Peaceniks will play August 6, Wendy Stapleton presents The Dusty Springfield Story on August 13, The Black Sorrows on August 20 and Bob Starkie presents Million Dollar Riff on August 27.
