What happens when you take a traditional beauty pageant, throw out the rulebook and invite everyone to decide what beauty means for themselves?
Welcome to Melbourne’s Most Beautiful Man 2026 – a new kind of beauty pageant, fundraiser and very good night out, all in support of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
More than a crown – or, in this case, a sash – it’s a celebration of individuality, creativity and community, with a night of live music, performance, comedy, glorious ridiculousness and plenty of heart.
Live music comes courtesy of Geoff O’Connor, serving up beautiful love songs, before a mystery act takes things into the final stretch and brings the party home.
Whether you’re here for the spectacle, the entertainment, the cause or simply to see what happens when the traditional pageant gets turned on its head, expect a night that’s as wonderfully unpredictable as it is meaningful.
And remember, the only criterion for contestants is that they want to be named Melbourne’s Most Beautiful Man.
This is a pageant that doesn’t require you to believe in pageants.
