Like a snake eating its own tail, Melbourne has now consumed itself as a living, breathing meme. And you know what? I bloody love it.
Smashed Avocado: A Music and Avocado Festival reportedly features “a day of sumptuous international and homegrown music, amazing avocado based activities and plenty of avocado on toast”.
I say the phrase “reportedly”, because this could just be an elaborate piece of performance art or a deeply immersive joke. The punchline? Us.
