On Saturday May 27, the Collingwood Town Hall will be hosting the all-day event. Board game enthusiasts of all shapes and sizes are invited to come on down and immerse themselves in the world of games.

- The first-ever iteration of the event will happen on May 27 at the Collingwood Town Hall
- It will feature board game professionals, local designers and gaming enthusiasts
- Entry to the market costs one gold coin

A gold coin donation grants you entry to the event, where you can try out some unreleased games and rub shoulders with local game designers, promoters, artisans and publishers.
There will also be a market where you can shop new and used games, browse the classics, and find a new favourite. Bring some friends – and get ready to make some new ones.

The event will be hosted by the City of Yarra and Melbourne Meeples – the city’s primary board game support association.
The non-for-profit organisation was formed in 2014 and has since been running monthly game days, female-focused social gaming events, an annual convention called Meeplecon, and OzBunnyCon – a family-friendly four day gaming festival that runs during the easter long weekend.
