“Myself and James G Warren were given the room in 2022,” says Comedy at Red Betty co-creator Nathan Hugh Robért. “Being a Brunswick local, I saw potential in a charming bar just off Sydney road. James and I wanted to put a show that locals would love. A year later, we have regulars who come every week.”

“The room has gone from strength to strength. Some weeks people can’t find a seat because the bar is so packed. We’ve had audiences from around the world – UK, Canada and France.”

“We want to host a night that means something – to audiences, comics and us. We want people to see comics experiment and have fun – that’s what makes for a great show.”
