Taking place across the CBD including ACMI Federation Square, Hoyts Melbourne Central, and RMIT, MWFF celebrates and supports the work of women screen practitioners across the industry.

The festival’s vibrant program includes over 30 films, as well as a series of panels and Q&As.

The four-day program opens with Love Serenade, with writer and director Shirley Barrett there to introduce the film.

Closing the festival is emerging filmmaker, Sophie Mathisen’s debut feature Drama, while other highlights include the 2017 AACTA nominated feature Don’t Tell, and the ‘Music In Motion’ program – exploring a potent collision of sound and visuals.
