Releasing his first debut single New Blue Moon in 2017, Mike has been steadily growing his art ever since. With the release of the first single from his upcoming album garnering positive reviews last year, this second teaser promises more tales of love, loss and reflection.
A minimalist approach, the song features mild finger-picked acoustic guitar backed with spacious and atmospheric synth pads, building a melancholic yearning for something once found and now lost. Reminiscent of Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley, the song is a short but sweet piece of indie folk.
The music video released to accompany the track is equally moving, following a couple’s dreamy day on the beach. Shot on film, the visuals inspire a state of lost euphoria, rose tinted glasses and times passed.
