Home-grown star Mason Dane is performing a series of headline shows across Australia before heading to the USA to support T-Pain on his American tour.
From living in a caravan parked outside his parent’s house to touring the United States with T-Pain later this year, the 22-year old fledging hip-hop artist’s breakthrough story of success is one to remember. Off the back of winning Acclaim’s 2022 All-Star Awards, Mason Dane is headlining his own tour across Australia this April and May.

“With the T-Pain tour coming up next month I felt it’s only right to warm up with my own little tour before moving on from this ‘Chasing Home’ era” says Mason on the upcoming tour. “We’re stopping at Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, then I’ll be hitting my hometown Newy to finish it off and bringing out some guests in every city. I can’t wait to perform these EP tracks for the first time while also bringing some dope energy and preparing myself for this massive US tour with Pain.”

Earlier this year, Mason released his heavily anticipated EP Chasing Home – a love letter to the rapper’s hometown of Newcastle that tackles the theme of searching for and finding the concept of home. The seven track EP features the singles White Mercedes and Pretty Pearl, showcasing the crazy versatility of the young artist, with the tracks blending EDM, trap and pop.
“I feel like my whole life home has always shifted and changed, from bouncing around rentals my whole childhood to moving interstate on my own,” Mason states on the themes of Chasing Home. “The concept of home has always been something I’ve been trying to grasp whether it’s in a person, in an environment, in a feeling etc. and I think this project really tells those stories and takes you with me through my journey.”
