The Sydney Road Short Film Competition is back for its next biennial instalment, opening up applications across two categories, one Sydney Road-centric, another Music Video-specific.
Behind a cash prize of $3,000, the Sydney Road [open] category has one requirement – there must be an aspect related to Sydney Road. Alternatively, the Music Video category must simply be Brunswick themed and is offering a cash prize of $1,500.
A $500 encouragement prize is also on offer and, like the other awards, will be determined by a three-member panel of judges. Following the closure of submissions, ten finalists will be shortlisted and will have their films screened as part of a Grand Final event, to be held in a pub setting. The winners will then be determined following the screenings.
