The festival is an exclusive showcase for Melbourne filmmakers and films that are Made in Melbourne. Some of the this year’s highlights include Mirror of Filth, the story of a man lost in the world of porn; This Little Piggy, a re-imagining of the classic children’s fairytale; Queen of the Bees, the story of Earth in a state of decay; and A Venue for the End of the World, an exploration of the similarities between Nazi stage techniques and showmanship employed by modern entertainers.
The festival also includes a slew of shorts as well a high school showcase, featuring the best short films from year 12 students and under.
