Cowboy boots at the ready, LONGHAUL Festival is bringing a huge country lineup to Melbourne Showgrounds in January 2027.
The inaugural LONGHAUL Festival will be headlined by two of the genre’s biggest names, Kane Brown and Kacey Musgraves, playing their only Australian shows. Kane Brown lands with 13 number-one singles at country radio, multi-platinum sales and two diamond-certified singles behind him. He has picked up a spot on Time magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people, become the first black artist to both headline and sell out Boston’s Fenway Park, collected five American Music Awards, and topped all five of Billboard’s main country charts at the same time.
Fellow headliner Kacey Musgraves brings eight Grammy wins and a reputation as one of country’s most inventive songwriters. Her sixth studio album, Middle of Nowhere, weaves her sharp storytelling through Texas dancehall traditions and shades of classic country, norteño and zydeco. It arrived at number one on Billboard’s Top Albums Sales Chart, notching the biggest first-week sales of her career so far.

Behind the two headliners, the bill runs deep. Charles Wesley Godwin, fresh off teaming up with Luke Combs on Better That Way, joins Grammy-nominated americana favourite Margo Price and quick-rising newcomer Maddox Batson. International acts Ava Hall and James Barker Band round out the overseas contingent.
Local talent gets a solid run too, with Beau Shearer, Denvah, Nathan Lamont, Taylor Moss and Tyla Rodrigues all joining the lineup. LONGHAUL Touring says every international artist is appearing at the festival exclusively, making these the only Australian dates on offer for fans keen to see them live. LONGHAUL Touring, powered by TEG Live, has pitched the festival as its flagship event, with more country programming promised down the line.
On ticketing, Afterpay handles the official presale from 12pm on 24 July through to 12pm on 27 July. Other presales kick off from 1pm on 27 July, before general public tickets go live at 2pm on 31 July via Ticketek.
