Hailing from York, Pennsylvania, Live was formed in 1984 at the lead of guitarist and singer Ed Kowalczyk. On tour, they’ll be celebrating the 20-year anniversary of their highly acclaimed third album, Throwing Copper, which hit number 1 in Australia and lives on as essential listening for alt-rock fans.

Featuring the unforgettable singles Lighting Crashes, I Alone, All Over You and Selling The Drama, the album was awarded platinum status 10 times over in Australia and sold over 8 million copies.

“It has been way too long, and I couldn’t be happier that Live is finally returning to Australia for the first time in 5 years! The band and the show is so good and so strong and the fans who have seen it so far have been extremely happy! So, it was most definitely time to come and share it with our mates down under,” says Kowalczyk.

“And the icing on the cake is going to be sharing the stage with Incubus for the first time. I have always been a fan of their deep vibes, intellectual lyrics, and ground-breaking musical style. I think the pairing of our two bands is perfect in so many ways and I’m sure it will be a night to remember for all of the fans. See ya soon!”

Calabasas, California funk rockers, Incubus will be sharing the stage, bringing widely-beloved hits including Drive, Wish You Were Here, Pardon Me and Stellar.

“We’re excited to come back to Australia and see everyone! It’s been way too long so we’re looking forward to seeing old friends and making new friends in cities we’ve never played before!” says singer Brandon Boyd.

Lookout Festival, which aims to bring the best of timeless modern rock to Australia’s most picturesque outdoor locations, says further announcements about the April festival are on the way – stay tuned for more.
