One of Australia's top hip-hop festivals has just unveiled its 2024 lineup and it's a spicy one.
The Listen Out lineup is here! This year’s festival features an exciting mix of international stars and homegrown talent, set to electrify Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and Sydney this September and October.
Grammy award-winning rapper, songwriter, and producer 21 Savage from Atlanta will make his first-ever visit to Australia. Fans can expect hits from his platinum albums Savage Mode, Issa Album, and Bank Account.

British-Nigerian grime king Skepta will drop his new album Knife and Fork before the tour, and with hints of a collaboration with Flo Milli, special performances are on the horizon. Lil Tjay returns after selling out arenas last year, bringing singles like Brothers, F.N, and Calling My Phone.
John Summit, known for his powerful presence in the dance music world, will perform tracks like Where You Are, Shiver, and Go Back with Sub Focus. His debut album Comfort in Chaos is set to drop on July 12. Sub Focus, a renowned DJ/producer, will bring his new album Evolve with special visuals. A potential appearance by John Summit during his set is highly anticipated.
South African star Tyla’s breakout hit Water has gained global attention, and her innovative fusion of Amapiano and R&B will be a festival highlight. Columbian-Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez will showcase her unique blend of pop, R&B, and hip hop. The Blessed Madonna, known for her track Marea (we’ve lost dancing) with Fred Again, promises a set filled with dance and advocacy for social equality and gender inclusivity.
Listen Out continues its tradition of promoting diversity and showcasing top Australian artists in the dance, electronic, and hip hop scenes. This year’s lineup includes a variety of local artists, with more names to be announced. Each city will also feature a triple j Unearthed spot for emerging talent.
For NRL fans in Sydney and AFL fans in Perth, dedicated areas will be available to watch the Grand Final. Both shows will feature a beer garden with screens, ensuring you don’t miss any sporting or festival action.
