This star-studded show will feature a cast and orchestra of over 65, including some of the most celebrated performers from Les Misérables. Sharing the iconic role of Jean Valjean are Alfie Boe and Killian Donnelly, while Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden take turns playing Javert. Matt Lucas and Australia’s musical theatre royalty Marina Prior will join the cast as the hilarious Thénardiers, while Rachelle Ann Go portrays Fantine, Jac Yarrow plays Marius, Beatrice Penny-Touré appears as Cosette, and James D. Gish will take on the role of Enjolras.

The Les Misérables Arena Spectacular is a new and exciting interpretation of the timeless classic, designed specifically for large-scale venues. Created by Matt Kinley, Paule Constable, Warren Letton, and Finn Ross, with sound by Mick Potter, the production has already garnered rave reviews and thrilled audiences in the UK and Europe. The Times described it as “a blockbuster on steroids,” with a gripping atmosphere akin to a rock concert or a football match.

Audiences can expect to hear all the iconic songs from Boublil and Schönberg’s beloved score, including I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, Stars, Bring Him Home, and One Day More. The arena production will only be in Australia for five weeks before heading to Japan, Taiwan, China, and other Asian countries, followed by North America.

Cameron Mackintosh, the producer behind this global sensation, expressed his excitement for bringing the arena tour to Australia, saying, “It will be over 10 years since Boublil and Schönberg’s timeless masterpiece was last seen in Australia, so I feel sure this quick blast of Miz Rocks! will delight fans until I can bring the stage production back One Time More!”

Live Nation Australia’s Chairman, Michael Coppel, attended the world premiere in Glasgow and was blown away by the scale and passion of the production. “Even if you have previously seen and loved Les Mis, you have never before seen it like this! Les Mis Rocks!!” he said.

Nick Grace, one of the world’s top producers of international touring productions, has also been instrumental in making this arena spectacle a reality. Grace has managed global hits such as Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular, Blue Man Group, and Batman Live – World Arena Tour, and now brings Les Misérables to arenas around the world.

General public tickets will go on sale on Friday 29 November at 1pm local time, and fans are encouraged to join the waitlist at lesmisarenatour.com.au.
