The EP represents a significant sonic shift from LAHGO’s debut release, Chasing the City. Drawing inspiration from acclaimed artists like Amy Winehouse and Alicia Keys, the band incorporates a three-part horn section and a stripped-back, keys-driven sound, resulting in a unique and compelling musical experience.

LAHGO’s ability to bridge sounds from different genres and create something original is evident once again in ‘Midnight Revelry’. With their distinctive fusion of neo-soul and rock, the band has captivated audiences with their captivating vocals and compelling riffs. Their previous releases have garnered significant success, selling out headline shows in Sydney and supporting renowned acts such as Eagle Eye Jones, Seaside, Slim Jimz, GO-JO, Sloan Peterson, and Don West. Their music has amassed over 100k streams on Spotify, with a peak monthly listenership of over 6,500, resonating deeply with fans around the world.

Midnight Revelry marks another noteworthy addition to LAHGO’s impressive repertoire. Building upon their signature sound, the band crafts an immersive experience that encourages listeners to reflect on their own experiences of fluctuating emotions within relationships.
