The sideshow series features several Australian debuts, including Dutch symphonic metal pioneers Within Temptation, who bring their three-decade career to local stages for the first time. The band’s 2023 album Bleed Out reached number two in the Netherlands and achieved top ten positions across Europe.

Babymetal return following their sold-out 2023 Australian tour, with the Japanese outfit performing shows in Brisbane and Sydney. The group recently collaborated with Electric Callboy on the single Ratatata and achieved notable success as the first Asian act to top the Billboard Rock Albums chart.

American hardcore veterans Hatebreed will celebrate the anniversary of their 2002 album Perseverance with a three-date run, while British electronic-rock crossover act Enter Shikari bring their latest number one UK album A Kiss for the Whole World to intimate venues across the country.

Local support comes from Melbourne’s Thornhill and Ocean Grove joining A Day To Remember in Brisbane, while Diamond Construct and Future Static support Babymetal’s respective Brisbane and Sydney shows. The announcement also includes comedy performances from Seattle-based metal enthusiast Luke Severeid across three cities.

Emerging acts feature prominently in the lineup, with Iowa’s Vended scheduling four headline shows alongside their support slot with Slipknot in Adelaide. San Francisco hardcore outfit Sunami bring their self-titled debut album to Australian stages, while metalcore veterans Miss May I perform material from their re-recorded debut album Apologies Are for the Weak.

Russian deathcore outfit Slaughter To Prevail return following their Good Things Festival appearance in 2023, with the band currently preparing to release their third album Grizzly in 2025.
