Kisschasy announce June dates for landmark album anniversary shows

Kisschasy
Words by Staff Writer

Australian rockers Kisschasy will embark on a national tour this June, performing their gold-certified album Hymns For The Nonbeliever in full to celebrate its first vinyl release.

The ARIA Top 5 album, originally released in 2007, will receive its debut vinyl pressing 18 years after release, with the limited edition 12″ vinyl available exclusively during tour presale.

“Our last tour proved that the special connection we have with our fans is alive and stronger than ever. We’ve been counting down the minutes until we can get back onto the stage and there’s no better reason than having our second album Hymns For The Nonbeliever released on vinyl for the very first time. As a band we are tighter and more focused than we’ve ever been, and these shows will be proof of that. There may even be some surprises,” the band said.

Kisschasy tour dates:

  • Perth, Astor Theatre – Friday 6 June
  • Adelaide, Hindley Street Music Hall – Saturday 7 June
  • Brisbane, Fortitude Music Hall – Friday 13 June
  • Sydney, Roundhouse – Saturday 14 June
  • Hobart, Uni Bar – Friday 20 June
  • Melbourne, Forum – Saturday 21 June

The tour will showcase the album in its entirety, including singles Opinions Won’t Keep You Warm at Night and Spray on Pants. Support comes from Perth’s Sly Withers and Melbourne artist Suzi across all dates. VIP packages will be available in limited numbers.

Presale begins Friday 31 January at 12pm AEDT, with general tickets on sale Tuesday 4 February at 12pm AEDT.
