King Parrot have earned a reputation as one of Australia’s most ferocious and chaotic live metal acts, developing a sound and identity uniquely their own through extensive touring both domestically and internationally. Their music, which combines elements of grindcore, death metal, thrash metal, and hardcore punk, is infused with their distinctive approach. Fresh out of the studio after completing their new album, the band is ready to hit the road and showcase their latest material.

With multiple ARIA nominations and performances alongside acts such as Pantera, Obituary, Exodus, Lamb of God, and Soulfly, the Melbourne-based band is no stranger to big stages. Having received a rousing reception at Knotfest Australia earlier this year, they are eager to deliver a headline show featuring new material.

Weedeater, known for their sludge-toned stoner and doom metal, are the perfect pairing. Their last visit to Australia was in 2016, and they have been eager to return ever since. With a back catalogue that includes classics like God Luck and Good Speed, Jason… The Dragon, and Goliathan, Australian fans can expect a massive onslaught of riffs as Weedeater, alongside King Parrot, deliver a heavy-hitting performance.

Presale will be held for each individual show as managed by the venues, and general public tickets will be available from Friday 2 August at 9am here.
