Born in New Zealand, Kimbra Johnson exploded onto the scene recently with her light-hearted funky soul vibes, generally being talented and doing some dedicated rounds of the festival circuit. Now Melbourne-based, she’s collaborated most notably with Miami Horror and her new album, Vows, is soon to be released.
M-Phases handles the production duties on Cameo Lover as Kimbra delves into a new world of influences from soul to Motown, all laced with her signature Kimbra sound.
