Morning Music series at Clocktower Centre features nostalgic performances from August to December including Disney classics and Christmas carols

The Clocktower Centre Morning Music series continues with five captivating tribute performances commencing on 19 August.

Rosa McCarty and Jonathan Guthrie-Jones star in Practically Perfect, a glorious tribute to Dame Julie Andrews featuring songs from Mary Poppins, My Fair Lady and The Sound of Music. The production comes from JTM Productions, creators of successful shows including California Dreaming and Carole King: The Songbook of her Life.

Danielle O’Malley channels British pop icon Cilla Black in Cilla: You’re My World, sharing stories from Liverpool while performing Anyone Who Had a Heart and Alfie. The series concludes with Rejoice and Be Merry, a Christmas celebration featuring Australian tenor Roy Best, singer Michelle Fitzmaurice and concert pianist William Schmidt performing O Holy Night, White Christmas and The Holy City.

Patrons can purchase a five-show package that includes a free 12-month Clocktower Centre membership. The venue, which began as the Essendon and Flemington Mechanics Institute, now serves as a modern centre for arts and culture with a recently refurbished café featuring a restored 1898 Bechstein grand piano.
