Could that title be more folky? Probably not. And could the single be more sensitive new age guy? It’s called No One Wants A Lover and it already reeks of let-me-hug-you-Josh vibes.
He’s been off the road and hiding away for the last year but he’s back now for a small run of acoustic shows in main cities where he will preview this new album, which is set to be released on August 19.
All the venues he’s chosen are pretty small, and in Melbourne Josh Pyke will play at The Grace Darling.
The single No One Wants A Lover will be on the radio from June 20. (Hey do you remember buying CD singles? Loltown.)
He’ll be joined on the min-tour by Jackson McLaren and tickets are available pre-sale to Josh Pyke fan club members from Thursday May 26 9am until Wednesday June 1 5pm (limit four tickets per transaction). For pre-sale, they’re $20. For everyone else they’re $25 available Thursday June 2, 9am.
