Join JMQ Jazz Ensemble for an evening of jazz magic on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the warm and welcoming GOLDEN GATE HOTEL in South Melbourne at 7pm. Jazz songstress Anastasia Aspeling takes the stage, accompanied by guest saxophonist, Bernard Alexander, with Ryan Menezes, Barney Loveland, Michael Harding, and John Montesante.

ANASTASIA is a wonderful jazz artist with a captivating stage presence, diverse repertoire and an extensive and versatile career in Australia and abroad. In recent years she has embraced her jazz and soul roots, working with John’s bands and with other artists, JMQ is always delighted to showcase her many gifts.
BERNARD is a jazz saxophonist, band leader and performer in the RAAF band. With his own ensemble, he draws inspiration from the long history of Black American Music to create a sound firmly rooted in the present moment, and is a welcome player with JMQ his week.
