From their self-titled debut album (out May 17), Plagiarist is a fine example of second-generation Vampire Weekend Carribbo-pop, warm, cascading guitar notes, steel drum sounds, bursting harmonies and pert little angles. Happy as hell and completely inoffensive, but I’m not sure why you’d love it. I’m not sure what there is to love in this little ball of fluff.
