Jet, the revered rock band, is about to ignite Melbourne with an intimate warm-up show that sets the stage for their Get Born 20th Anniversary Tour, a celebration that’s destined to rock the city.
Announced today, Jet’s exclusive warm-up show is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, and the venue lucky enough to host this iconic spectacle is none other than The Night Cat in Melbourne.

As the excitement builds, Jet’s Get Born 20th Anniversary Tour promises to be an unforgettable musical journey that’ll take fans on a ride through iconic tunes and timeless tracks.
Kicking off on September 22 at Melbourne’s revered Forum Theatre, the tour will then grace Hindley Street Music Hall in Adelaide on September 23, before moving to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on September 29. The tour will culminate in a crescendo of energy at Sydney’s famed Enmore Theatre on September 30.

Its global success was equally remarkable, with Jet reigning supreme on both the US Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts. Their collaboration with giants like the Rolling Stones, Oasis, and Kings Of Leon propelled their popularity skyward, amassing worldwide album sales in excess of 5 million.
Jet’s journey is one of highs and hiatuses, with their reformation in 2017 creating seismic waves of excitement among their fervent fans.
The undeniable demand for their music was affirmed through sensational shows with Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band, followed by triumphant performances at iconic venues like the Fuji Rock festival in Japan and Sydney and Melbourne Zoos.
Jet comprises the formidable lineup of Nic Cester (vocals/guitar), Chris Cester (vocals/drums), Cam Muncey (vocals/guitar), and Mark Wilson (bass).
Formed in the late ’90s in Melbourne, Jet’s meteoric rise began with the release of their debut EP Dirty Sweet in 2002, followed by the breakout album Get Born. Despite a temporary disbandment in 2012, the allure of rock and roll proved irresistible, leading to Jet’s triumphant return in 2017.
