This Sydney folk rock/electronic artist is playing at vintage venue The Butterfly Club

Jack Colwell & The OWLS will play at vintage venue The Butterfly Club on February 1.

This chamber folk rock/electronic artist from Sydney independently released his EP, White Noise, in 2008, and is now debuting songs from his first upcoming album Picture Window, which will be released in April this year.

Pigeons & Peacocks is Jack’s first show in Melbourne to be performed at The Butterfly Club, and his special guest is pop, rock and folk singer-songwriter Brendan Maclean. Brendan is returning to Melbourne after touring with Eagle and the Worm and The Whitlams in 2010.

After landing in Rage’s Top 50 for his single Practically Wasted, Brendan will be playing solo with songs from his debut EP White Canvas.

In 2009, Jack Colwell was invited to headline ThisIsNotArt festival in Newcastle, and also an intimate solo show for Bring Born Again, a collaboration of Australian visual artists and fashion designers broadcasted on Sunday Arts on the ABC.

Jack Colwell & The OWLS with Brendan Maclean are playing at The Butterfly Club on February 1. Doors open 7.30pm. Tickets $22 full, $19 concession, $18 groups (8 or more) and you can book them now at www.thebutterflyclub.com
