Announcing the end of The Preatures on Instagram, the band thanked fans for their ongoing support over the past decade.

“We want to thank everyone who was part of the journey and especially you for being such a dedicated fan base,” they wrote.

Having spent the past two years writing, collaborating, and recording in Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City, London, Paris, and Berlin, Manfredi’s solo endeavour marks the beginning of a new sonic direction for the critically-acclaimed musician.

The first taste of her solo album, ‘Jealousy’ is a robust pop track featuring Kirin J Callinan, Stella Mozgawa and Michael Di Francesco which pits slick beats against Manfredi’s alluring, honeyed vocals.

Accompanying the single is a film clip directed by Byron Spencer which features a heavily-pregnant Manfredi and a storyline which adds a humorous touch to the track.

“I was pretty pregnant by the time we got to conceiving a video for ‘Jealousy’, and the two things already felt so incongruent and ludicrous – a song about an unfaithful, embittered ex, meanwhile I’m happily committed and pregnant and moving on with my life,” says Manfredi.

“I loved the idea of flipping the concept to be about creative – even energetic – jealousy. I’m bigger, I’m fuller, I’m making life, I’m making pasta, I’m selling you the dream, I’m in my element,” she says.
