Damien Rice returns to Australia and New Zealand for theatre tour in 2025.
Following a sold-out tour in May 2023, prolific Irish singer-songwriter Damien Rice will return to Australia for an extensive series of theatre shows, alongside a long-awaited visit to New Zealand in January and February 2025.
Rice will bring his captivating live show to audiences in Adelaide, Melbourne, Bendigo, Canberra, Thirroul, Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane before heading to New Zealand for performances in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.

Known for his hauntingly beautiful live performances, Damien Rice has a unique ability to transform large venues into intimate spaces. Often performing without a setlist, he has built a strong connection with fans that evolves with each live performance.
Since his last visit to Australia, Rice spent the latter half of 2023 performing worldwide, including intimate shows in Japan and his Sailboat Tour across Italy and Spain. A veteran of the live stage, Rice continues to engage audiences in a remarkable way.
With the release of his debut album O in 2002, the Dublin-born singer gained significant recognition, landing a Top 10 spot on the UK Album Chart, alongside three Top 30 UK singles and a Shortlist Music Prize. His follow-up album, 9, was released in 2006, featuring the hit single ‘9 Crimes’. In 2014, he released his third and latest studio album, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, with fans eagerly awaiting new music from the multi-platinum singer.
