Interstellar Groove Festival drops its biggest electronic lineup yet

Words by staff writer

Interstellar Groove Festival has unveiled its 2026 lineup, and the boutique Victorian camping event is going bigger than ever.

The four-day electronic music gathering returns to Tallarook from 30 October to 2 November with three stages of programming spanning trance, house, techno, progressive and psychedelic sounds.

Interstellar Groove has been quietly carving out a name for itself as one of the state’s most distinctive boutique festivals, blending underground electronic music with art, wellbeing and a community-first ethos across a bush setting roughly 1.5 hours north of Melbourne.

On the international front, the 2026 bill pulls together some serious weight. UK trance stalwart John 00 Fleming headlines alongside Amsterdam-based producer Patrice Bäumel, Systematic Recordings founder Marc Romboy, and Israeli progressive psytrance producer Freedom Fighters. They’re joined by Tim Green, Electrypnose, D-Nox, Pavel Petrov, Dela Moon, Bayawaka, Golanski, Luis M, One Million Toys and Sammy Legs, with a special guest set from EEEMUS adding further intrigue.

Australia’s underground electronic scene features prominently across the program. Local acts include GMJ & Matter, Kasey Taylor, Shadow FX, Kodiak Kid, Butterz, Liam Sieker, Platypuss, Christopher Brooks, Nikki Sig, Funkform, Jedidiah, Mora, Haber, Handsdown, Twisted Sibling and Unknown Concept, alongside a broad roster of emerging and established names. Curated showcases from five collectives round out the bill: Coco Poco Loco, Homebass, Love Camp, Weapon Records, and Morning After, with the latter marking its 10-year celebration at the festival.

The 2026 edition also expands beyond music, with the festival broadening its wellbeing and arts programming alongside new infrastructure and community-focused initiatives. Camping comes included with all admission tickets, while glamping bell tents, pre-pitched options and on-site cabins are available for anyone after a bit more comfort. A return shuttle bus from Southern Cross Station is on offer for those without a car.

First release admission tickets are on sale now from $363, with group packages starting at $1,386 for four people. Flexible weekly and monthly payment plans are available through the festival’s Humanitix ticketing page.
